  • Overview

    CIS Secure Computing, a best-in-class secure computing solutions company meeting the highest and strictest government standards, has several internship opportunities. These positions will support various departments with numerous project related administrative, technical, or clerical duties. The responsibilities listed below will vary based on the assigned department.



    • Provide administrative support to Accounting, Facilities, Human Resources, Quality, and Operations and Sales.
    • Assists with filing, organizing electronic data, coordinating small events, and staffing the reception desk.
    • Support Sales with creation of marketing material and website content management.
    • Assist Production or Engineering with work instructions. Photograph equipment in various stages of development, document the process, and edit documents.
    • Assist the Paint Department with computerized settings and labeling.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Basic Qualification:

    • Must be U.S. person within the meaning of U.S. regulations

    Education and Experience


    • High school diploma or GED. Undergraduate courses in business, communication, or engineering Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
    • One to three (3) month’s work experience or training


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


    • Good communication skills, able to write clearly and informatively, able to edit work for spelling and grammar
    • Website Intern duties require prior website content management and photo shopping. Prior experience with debugging coding is a plus
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, high proficiency preferred
    • Team player attitude, supportive of coworkers. Willing to help and take on more responsibilities.
    • Efficient in completing administrative tasks
    • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks; must be detail oriented
    • Able to adapt to changes in the work environment.




    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer key board; to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk.


    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.



    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as can be expected in a typical office environment but may sometimes be loud as can be expected in a manufacturing environment.
