  • Responsibilities

     

    • Assist in daily preparations duties as assigned for the assembly, testing and repair of various electronic products manufactured by the company as directed
    • Handle most complicated projects
    • Assemble, test, and repair, precision electro-mechanical equipment used in computers, electronic instruments, and similar electronic systems, following blueprints, diagrams, and verbal and written instructions
    • Manufacture, and/or install, and route wiring, cables and harnesses to specification
    • Assemble computer and other product enclosures to specification.
    • May periodically instruct or train less experienced assembly technicians. May occasionally act as lead technician.
    • Assist in basic programming, configurations, and firmware updates as required. Configure basic computer networks and troubleshoot a variety of computer issues. (For Computer/Video Departments)
    • Set up basic computer security measures.
    • Install computer hardware and software systems
    • Generate accurate production records
    • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. repairs to sub-assemblies and devices
    • Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies
    • Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Basic Qualification:

    • Must be U.S. person within the meaning of U.S. regulations

    Education and Experience:                                                      

    • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum five years related experience required

    Abilities and Skills:

    • Requires a high degree of precision, ability to interpret detailed specifications and instructions
    • Technical knowledge of electronics and mechanical designs
