  • Production Support Technician

  • Responsibilities


    • Supply parts to assembly lines as soon as they are required while not interrupting the flow of production. This is a time sensitive duty which will impact the production line if there is an interruption.
    • Unpackage, prepare all parts, and dispose of all trash.
    • Count all parts and compare to kit list. Accuracy is critical to successful performance.
    • Place parts in bins and label if necessary and distribute to specified stations on the production line.
    • Monitor the line continuously for damaged parts, part shortages or count discrepancies.
    • Work with Production Support Lead to replace damaged parts or resolve count discrepancies.


    Basic Qualification:

    Must be U.S. person within the meaning of U.S. regulations


    Education and Experience:                                                     

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Entry level position; experience, training, or familiarity with electronic parts such as circuit boards, cables, and metal parts is preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately count parts
    • Possess effective oral communication skills
    • Requires a high degree of precision and ability to remain alert while performing routine tasks
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • Must be a team player

     The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).



    The duties of this job require the employee to stand during the majority of the workday. In addition, the employee will 1) walk and sit, 2) use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and 3) talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds and occasional assist in heavy lifting of up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.



    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional loud noises associated with a manufacturing environment.
